Robert Wright

Robert started dancing professionally in 1993 with Fred Astaire in Jacksonville, Fl. There he received his training and became a certified instructor. In 1995 Robert continued his tenure with Fred Astaire in Charleston, SC, where he gain certification in bronze, silver, international rhythm, international standard, and theater arts. Robert, a professional regional champion, has been a pro/am and professional competitor on the national circuit since 1995.

In 2005, Robert relocated to Raleigh to gain training and continue teaching with another major ballroom franchise. He has won numerous awards to include top in guests, top in sales, top in hours taught and multiple teacher awards.

In 2007, Robert and his wife struck out on their own, opening Carolina Ballroom of Cary, LLC.
