| Smooth consists of dances such as, Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz and Quickstep.They are designed to epitomize elegance, grace and poise. These dances sweep around the room, following a counterclockwise direction. The sophistication of these styles is hard to miss as they whirl across the dance floor. |

| Rhythm dances include Latin dances such as Salsa, Cha-Cha, Rumba; as well as many versions of Swing, (to include East Coast and West Coast), Shag and Jive. These expressive dances emote fun and excitement, romance and passion. They are characterized by hip action, spins, sharp lines and quick movements. These are great styles for any dance floor, from the night-club to the country-club. |
