About the Studio

Welcome to the Carolina Ballroom of Cary in NC. Founded in 2007, we are the premier ballroom dance studio in the triangle. Our studio provides fun, laid-back, professional dance instruction to students of all ages and skill levels. Each of our professionally trained instructors brings more than ten years of teaching experience to the dance floor, and together our team has over 75 years of dance knowledge in more than 25 different dance styles.

We will introduce to you the joys of social dancing through private lessons, group classes, and Friday Night Parties! For the more serious dancers, competitions allow you to strive to compete at the highest level of technique and style. Our dance curriculum includes American Smooth and Rhythm dance instruction at Beginner, Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels.

Our studio seeks to bring the joy of dance to the Cary and surrounding communities and to provide the highest quality teaching at the best price. Carolina Ballroom of Cary is conveniently located in Kildaire Farms Racquet Club. We have two large ballrooms for instruction and practice. Private lessons and group classes are held Monday through Saturday, with a special practice party every Friday evening.

What we Teach

Latin/Rhythm Dancing:

We at the Carolina Ballroom of Cary teach all of the most popular Latin dances such as Cha Cha, Salsa, Rumba, Merengue, Bachata, and even Samba.

These dances add spice and rhythm to even the most romantic couple. Learn to move, shake, and shimmy your way across the dance floor.

Ballroom/Smooth Dancing:

Dapper, elegant, and graceful, these are the adjectives that describe the traditional ballroom or smooth dances.
The most popular ballroom dances included the Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, and Viennese Waltz.

These dances bring confidence, strength, and control to any style of dancing.

Swing Dancing:

Quirky, cheeky, and exciting are the best ways to describe Swing Dancing.

Enjoy any dance floor in the Carolina’s by picking up the Shag, East Coast, West Coast, Lindy hop, and Hustle.
